Countywide Storm Sewer Outfall Repair Program
Midtown Engineers was selected by the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) to provide final engineering design plans, specifications and a construction cost estimates (PS&E) for 14 repair sites throughout Harris County. Improvements included erosion repair, removal of bottom siltation, replacement of outfall pipes, replacement of backslope interceptors, sidewalks, ramps, roadway improvement and 66-Inch RCP and 96-Inch RCP installations. With a “Fast Track” schedule on this project of 94 Calendar Days, our project team completed all Topographic Survey, Engineering Design, QA/QC and Utility Coordination/SUE while also coordinating 3 different survey firms. Construction was completed on schedule is less than 180 calendar days.
